My Piwes, my sussie! I loved seeing you love your family so fiercely… always present… always easy… always cheering (and crying tears of joy!). You lived fully! I will miss your laughter the most – you were always ready to hear a funny story! You will always, always, be remembered and loved. Rest in Peace MaRhadebe omhle! ❤️

My darling friend, I don’t have words expect that I was not ready for your departure. I remember when we last spoke early this year you scolded me for not calling because that’s what you did as often as you could.

Thanks for the love, the friendship and being my soundboard at the work. I will remember our lunches, walks but mostly our laughs. You always reminded me to keep my faith in God strong because that’s one thing we had in common.

The 13th floor will never be the same to me.

Rest easy Bhungane omhle, till we meet again.

Mmeza wam omhle with a zeal and zest for life! I don’t recall a time I saw you without a fabulous you. Always in your Jackie Onassis sunnies.

Smiling with that mhlantla, sikhwazane at Pick n Pay & Woolies: Hello Mmezaaaaaa 👋🏾.

God knows how much we prayed & fasted- your sisters and I, on our WhatsApp group, and I’m sure many others too. God spared you from this wicked world we live in, me says.

A real Mmeza you were. If we had any problems in our hood, I’d call, you’d call, just to check if we are all experiencing the same.

Thank you for guiding me for my girls’ Matric Dance pre drinks. Ndlela le wawuswenke ngayo that day… one would have thought it was your event! When I called you to check what the occasion was, I can vividly hear your laugh & voice: ‘It’s pre-drinks zikaKoketso Mmeza, we dress up”. That was it for me… a chance to shine at my daughters’ Matric dance predrinks, ndandiswenkeeeee! Thanks to you MaRadebe. We ball-gowned properly.

A day that will be etched in my heart forever: “Mmeza, I want to come khe ndizonabaa apho kwakho sincokole kamnandi” whilst holding uSmiley for your father in law & hubby… it never materialised because COVID-19 came!

Rest well Sisi. You fought the battle. And I say again, God spared you. You’re no longer in pain. Revelations 21:4.

Condolences to your husband, kids, Mickey, Zingisa & the entire family. You loved hard. Evident in your relationship with your siblings. May the cords of love never be broken kuni bashiyekileyo.

Till we meet again Nobuhle Piwe ♥️

It still feels surreal, how such a beautiful soul can be taken away from its loves ones so early. I think about the deep love you had for your family, in every conversation you celebrated each of them, you made time for every friend, through your character you were a teacher. Your time pn earth was spent nurturing your soul, effortlessly making it ready to sit next to your Creator. I can only imagine the open arms that your parents and brother have welcomed you with, the laughter you share with your mother-in-law. Ike, Khumo, Koke and your sisters will heal in time, with God’s grace, there’s no doubt that the void you have left in their lives no one can fill. You lived fully, loved fully and will soar fully!!!

This feels like a dream, I’m out of words…… 💔💔💔 You were such a happy soul Piwe, with a cheerful laughter. At first glance one would think you are a very shy person till you get closer and feel your warmth, your love. May you rest in perfect peace. May your family find comfort in Psalm 23 verse 4 and 1 Cor 10 verse 13. This too shall pass. You are all in our prayers. 🙏🏽

The first time I met you, I saw a sister who would want order and spoke her mind, that made me fell in love with you, because you were yourself. You have lived your fullest life, your presence was felt everywhere, you loved anyone whether you knew them or not and made them feel special, you were just yourself and didnt pretend to anything and to anyone. Your vibe, your energy, your spirit will be missed forever. You were a happy soul. Goodbye Piwe until we meet again. May your precious soul rest in peace

What a lovely souls; I know Piwe from work at GEP. It was during working hours that we had our conversations. The most interesting part is that although it was during the working hours that Piwe would come to my office and speak to me very calmly and softly; she told me about her faith as an Anglican child.

She even told me how her husband was committed and contemplated being a Parish Minister “Ike just know that you are on the right track and Piwe was proud of that “.

Thanks Piwe for being faithful to the end. You were not ashamed to confess your faith in Jesus Christ against all odds….The side I have always known is that one of soldiering on…When She was baptised she made a vow to fight sin, Satan and the worldly desires… this means it is never easy hence our scars as Christian. Some of our scars are visible and some are invisible…but we soldier on….

Weeping last for a night but joy comes in the morning

    My beautiful Piwe,
I have known you since 2016 when you joined GEP and you have been an amazing person, with a sweet voice and always joyful. You never went home without checking on me at 6th floor and reminded me that i owe you a date. I remember your beautiful smile despite all the challenges we were facing. I will miss our conversations during office hours and after work. Rest well my dear colleague and friend. Heaven has indeed gained a beautiful angel.
Condolences to the entire family and friends
