John Mogorosi ‘Oupa’ Mathopa, son of Pule & Thabea Mathopa, was born on the 23rd of October 1975 in Potchefstroom. He started school at Redibone Primary School, then attended Lethabong High School. He then furthered his studies at Wits Technikon where he attained his tertiary qualification. At the time of his passing, he was studying towards a MBA qualification with the Nelson Mandela University.

 

In 1998, John worked for Grinaker/LTA and then moved to Moolman in 2004 for a short period. In 2005 he was working for Roshcon where he enjoyed a lenghthy career before moving over to Environserv in 2017.As with any hardworking individual, the entrepreneurial bug also bit him and he became self-employed in 2019 to date.

 

He is survived by his two caring parents, two crazy brothers, one adoringly beautiful wife and four amazing children.

 

Rest in peace, see you in the morning.
