I am saddened to learn of Mampe death. She will always invite me to Nelson Mandela Childrens fund to speak on issues challenging the children. The partnership we shared with the Fund and NPA -Thuthuzela Care Center’s was through her engagement and her initiative. She loved children and she played that role very well. To her child and family, I am sorry for your loss, we are going to miss her too. I hope you feel surrounded by much love, my condolences.
Sincere and heart felt condolences. Our partnership as workmates at the Fund and all collaborations build bonds beyond imagination. We extended compassion for children and indeed other communities living at the margins of society to many places within and outside South Africa. It was shocking to learning of this sad news. MHSRIP

Of all the life lessons you’ve passed down on me, learning to live knowing that you are no more was not one of them. It is also for those lessons that today I know that there is healing in accepting what God had in store. Thank you for the contributions you’ve made in building the man I’ve become today. Most importantly, thank you for the selfless love you’ve shared.

I had known Mampe for a short time after I joined NMCF in 2020, but even in that short period, it was very apparent how passionate she was about the development of young people, how dedicated she was to the work of NMCF, and how instrumental she had been in the development of some of the programmes that we have.
Sending my deepest condolences to Mampe’s family, this is a loss that we share deeply with them. I wish them strength during this difficult time and may God’s love and comfort be with them at all times. May Mampe’s soul rest in eternal peace.
